This kitchen accents a traditional colonial style home. The homeowner prioritized the kitchen to look as if it had always been there. Shaker style custom cabinetry was used to add a timeless feature. Four levels of lighting gently illuminate the space including ceiling lights, recessed lights, the undercabinet lighting, and the feature lighting on the island. The existing wood flooring was refinished, and protective inlaid tile was installed anywhere higher volumes of water might be present.
