We can quote all the projects at the same time then suggest the best path to take meaning which to do first, second, and so on so you are not doing work twice.
Each home is different when it comes to which improvements will give the best ROI. If you have “foundational” issues present, such as leaking roof, old inefficient HVAC, drafty windows and astatic issues, i recommend making those changes first. With every home getting a home inspection these days, “foundational” issues are easy to spot and will cost you in the sale of your home. After these are handled the biggest “bang for the buck” usually comes from kitchen and master bathroom remodels.
We have done some unbelievable kitchen remodels that had a lot of WOW factor, but we have done more that are more functional with less WOW. Your personal tastes and budget usually determine the final layout and cost.
Most of the time projects are worked on daily by the same person that started the project. On larger projectts that require subcontractors, there can be a day or two between subs and completion of the project. It is in both our best interest to complete a project in an timely manor.
The size of the project usually determines how many men are assigned to it. On bathrooms for example, it is difficult to work two men on that size project. We usually will have all products purchased before we start the project to ensure there are no delays related to product acquisition.

Most clients enjoy the shopping process which will educate them as to what is available. The granite warehouses for example, have hundreds of slabs to look at. Seeing the whole slab at one time is beneficial and clients usually will take other product samples with them, like cabinet or floor colors, to compare to the granite slab. As you see it come together, the excitement builds. If, by chance, you choose a product that is subpar, we will advise you of that and encourage you to choose another product.
Actually, with the number of trim profiles available, we can match the style of the room so you may not be able to tell which areas are new and which are original.
Our estimate meeting is the first input you have on the scope of the project, after which we get your approval each step of the way through the project. Our goal is for you to be so happy with the results of the finished project that you will refer us to others.
Newer flooring and lighting are two of the popular changes that make the biggest difference in the appearance of any home. Dimmer switches on the lighting can create the ambiance that you want with little effort.
We have never gotten into bank financing projects, instead choosing to concentrate on our building and remodeling business. In certain cases, like homebuilding, we do recommend using a construction loan which we can help with. It is also recommended that for larger projects, owners consider a home equity line of credit or a home equity loan.
I am sorry but we do not. It may be a convenient way to pay for something but there is always a cost, and many companies are adding 3% onto their invoices if a credit card is used.
Each project is different, but all proposals require a deposit then either a final payment for small jobs or progress payments for larger projects. The project payments are based on “mile markers” in our progress on your project. We always invoice the final payment on our projects so you have time to experience it before sending the final check.
